Reverend Eustacia Moffett Marshall serves as the Associate Pastor of the C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church. In this capacity, she maintains oversight of youth and young adult ministries where she provides vision and leadership for ongoing ministry programs and special events. Under her tenure, youth and young adults have been inflamed with a passion to serve Christ through weekly bible studies, leadership training, youth-led worship experiences, life-changing mission trips, service projects, and fellowship opportunities that build community and encourage positive peer influence.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Minor in Human Biology from Stanford University in June 2001. In May 2006, she received her Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary where she graduated with distinction. Rev. Marshall’s academic achievement and ecclesiastical service merited a record number of 8 awards during her tenure at Princeton including the Presbyterian Leadership Award, the Fund for Theological Education Fellowship, the Jagow Preaching Prize, the Waileys Prize for Excellence in the Field of New Testament, the David Hugh Jones Prize for Musical Excellence, the Edler Garnett Hawkins Award for Scholastic Excellence, the John T. Galloway Prize in Expository Preaching, and the David B. Watermulder Prize in Church Leadership. Prior to Princeton Seminary, she served in full-time ministry as the Associate Minister of Music for the Elmwood United Presbyterian Church in East Orange, New Jersey. A leader in both the church and community, Rev. Marshall was named Who’s Who in Black Charlotte in July 2008. She is also a contributor to the African American lectionary and has a sermon published in the African American Pulpit (Fall 2009).
A native of Oakland, California, she is married to the Rev. Touré C. Marshall, and she is the daughter of Mr. Mondre and Rev. Dr. Diane Givens-Moffett. It is her desire to use her gifts for the glory of God.
